Hello and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League clash between Aston Villa and Fulham at Villa Park.
Aston Villa saw their run of five-straight wins in the Premier League halted last time out against Brentford. Douglas Luiz scored a vital late equaliser to secure a point for the Villans, but the result checked their momentum in their bid to challenge for a Champions League spot. Unai Emery's side can still put the pressure back on Manchester United and Newcastle United above them with a win, which would further improve their Europa League chances in the process.
Fulham secured back-to-back wins in the Premier League, defeating Leeds United last time out to build on their triumph over Everton. Marco Silva's men endured a slump in form after losing five on the bounce in all competitions, but his team have regained their composure and are now looking to end the campaign on a high note. A victory tonight would take them one step closer to a top-half finish and potentially more if they can end the campaign with a flourish.
ASTON VILLA (4-2-3-1): Emi Martinez; Ashley Young, Ezri Konsa, Tyrone Mings, Alex Moreno; Leander Dendoncker, Douglas Luiz; John McGinn, Emiliano Buendia, Jacob Ramsey; Ollie Watkins.

Outside of their opening burst after 19 seconds, Fulham have been very quiet in the first half. Villa have been very comfortable at the back and look dangerous in the final third. Marco Silva faces a crucial team talk at the break.
FULHAM SUBS: Marek Rodak, Shane Duffy, Tom Cairney, Neeskens Kebano, Cedric Soares, Bobby De Cordova-Reid, Sasa Lukic, Carlos Vinicius, Issa Diop.
Both teams return to Premier League action on Sunday. Villa travel to face Manchester United at Old Trafford, while Fulham host Manchester City.
