Hello and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League fixture between Fulham and West Ham.
Fulham are on a very poor run of form, losing their last four matches in all competitions. Despite being 1-0 up last weekend against Bournemouth, Marco Silva’s side lost 2-1 after a terrible second-half display. Things got worse for the club this week as Aleksandar Mitrovic’s suspension will last eight games following his incident in the FA Cup against Manchester United.
This is a must-win game for David Moyes as a defeat could see West Ham drop into the relegation zone, which may cost the manager his job. The Hammers were thrashed 5-1 by Newcastle during the week as they made a lot of individual errors in defence. A win could be a huge boost for the team, potentially taking them up to 12th in the Premier League table.
Fulham (4-2-3-1): Bernd Leno; Cedric Soares, Tosin Adarabioyo, Tim Ream, Antonee Robinson; Harrison Reed, Joao Palhinha; Bobby De Cordova-Reid, Andreas Pereira, Willian; Carlos Vinicius.
SUBS: Harry Wilson, Tom Cairney, Dan James, Sasa Lukic, Marek Rodak, Manor Solomon, Kenny Tete, Shane Duffy, Issa Diop.
West Ham (4-4-2): Lukasz Fabianski; Vladimir Coufal, Kurt Zouma, Angelo Ogbonna, Aaron Cresswell; Pablo Fornals, Declan Rice, Tomas Soucek, Jarrod Bowen; Michail Antonio, Danny Ings.
SUBS: Manuel Lanzini, Flynn Downes, Alphonse Areola, Maxwell Cornet, Said Benrahma, Ben Johnson, Thilo Kehrer, Nayef Aguerd, Emerson.
The players are making their way out of the tunnel and onto the pitch!
Although West Ham are not playing well, the main objective for Moyes is to get all three points. They will drop deeper as the half goes on to try and secure all three points. Fulham are lacking any motivation at the moment, and their attacking play is showing it.
That's all for today, goodbye!
The win takes West Ham up to 13th in the league table and three points above the drop zone while Fulham remain in 10th. The Hammers face Gent in the Europa Conference League before hosting Arsenal in the league. Fulham travel to Everton for their next fixture.
