We're under way!
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the Premier League meeting between Brighton and Hove Albion and West Ham at the Amex Stadium!
These sides come into today on the back of contrasting FA Cup results in midweek; Brighton are through to the quarter-finals having edged past Stoke City 1-0 on Tuesday, while a late Manchester United comeback saw West Ham knocked out after a 3-1 defeat the day after. The Seagulls can move closer to the European places again with a win here, and they've lost just one of their last nine in all competitions (W6 D2), though that was their last league outing when Fulham beat them 1-0. As for West Ham, they're now out of the relegation zone and have lost only one of their last five Premier League games (W2 D2), a 2-0 defeat to Tottenham in their most recent away trip.
BRIGHTON AND HOVE ALBION STARTING XI (4-2-3-1): Jason Steele; Pervis Estupinan, Adam Webster, Lewis Dunk, Tariq Lamptey; Pascal Gross, Moises Caicedo; Solly March, Alexis Mac Allister, Kaoru Mitoma; Evan Ferguson.
WEST HAM STARTING XI (4-3-3): Alphonse Areola; Ben Johnson, Nayef Aguerd, Angelo Ogbonna, Emerson; Tomas Soucek, Declan Rice, Lucas Paqueta; Jarrod Bowen, Danny Ings, Said Benrahma.
WEST HAM SUBS: Aaron Cresswell, Joseph Anang, Kristjan Hegyi, Manuel Lanzini, Kurt Zouma, Gianluca Scamacca, Pablo Fornals, Flynn Downes.
The teams are out on the pitch now, with kick-off just moments away!
BRIGHTON AND HOVE ALBION SUBS: Facundo Buonanotte, Jan-Paul van Hecke, Julio Enciso, Robert Sanchez, Jeremy Sarmiento, Deniz Undav, Billy Gilmour, Joel Veltman, Danny Welbeck.
It was a very slow first half from West Ham, and Moyes was making his frustration clear. He'll be expecting them to press much quicker in an attempt to get them upfield and actually creating chances. Brighton have looked very comfortable despite being only 1-0 up, but they'll be wanting a second goal to give themselves a bit more control.
That's all for today, goodbye!
Brighton stay in eighth with that win, but they're now just three points behind Newcastle United in fifth. They travel to Leeds United next weekend. West Ham lose on the road once more, and it leaves them just two points above the relegation zone. Their attention now turns to a Europa Conference League last-16 game against AEK Larnaca on Thursday.
